Brief History

Our history dates back to the mid-nineteenth century when Genoese immigrants settled on the outskirts of Montevideo. Around 1903, Juan Pedro Domingo and Antonio Giacobbe found the ideal geographical conditions in the Manga area to dedicate themselves to the cultivation of vines and the production of good wines. They continued the tradition passed down from their families, working mainly with vines of the Harriague variety, today known as Tannat, and then began the production and sale of wines.
